I have been a driver for a long time, and just recently have been noticing how dangerous the streets really are. Do you deal with issues such as these in your area?

Also, these stats very deep. What do you make per delivery?

Ok, I looked at my stats.

2 shifts
8 hours
21 runs
2.6 runs/hour
$5.20 per run
$18 per hour

And no embelishments. I thought the South-side of Milwaukee had poor tippers. I feel for you.

Do you work on nights with "cheap-ass pizzas"?? Tuesday is carryout night (i don't work) but Wed. is "cheap-ass" night, tips are poor and so was the weather (at least the past two weeks).

NO Way Papa John said...

I´m a driver for Papa John from Florida. Hey we are getting pay starting in Dec 15, 2008 we get pay US$7.25 went we are in the store went we the driver we never are in the Store and US$5.00 went we are making a delivery on the street risking our life to just taking a Pizza and almost never get a TIP.

We never could get pay so low and we are letting then get rich on our account. And also we are NOT SAFE on the Streets.

Tell me on your end you also get pay like that or more or less.

If you don´t know that we are trade as waiters and we are NOT WAITERS. WAITERS don´t waste gas, oil, insurance, tire, cel phone, car parts and much more.

They charge US$2.25 to delivery there Pizza to the door and we only get US$1.10 per Pizza we take and the client always said that we receive all and that is not true.

Our State of Florida have never re-write the law of what is a Waiter and a Delivery Driver.

As a Delivery Driver we can´t obligate the client to give us TIPS when the WAITER receive between 10% to 15% and us the Delivery Driver we get between Nothing and US$5.00. Also when they put it on the credit card we have to pay taxes when a TIP is a gift from the client to the Delivery Driver and all gift do not pay taxes.

We are ready to start the first U.S. Pizza Delivery Driver Union of Florida (USPDDU).

We already have in our future union have around 10,000 members agains all Papa John Pizza, Dominos and Pizza Hut Franchisees in all Florida and maybe we are expand our Union to all others States in The United States.

We are inviting to the union all Pizza Delivery Drivers from all companies that are getting the same treat like we are.

What will happen if we go on strike for two days on the road they will lost over more US$10MM on Two day and why they never want pay us the Fed Wage went we are in or out the store.

Thanks to read ours demands.

Best Regards,
