Only a $1.15 a run ...Hey Kevin...
hang in there man.

Only a $1.15 a run though??

I'll be opening my own store soon, and will be reimbursing drivers $2 a delivery and there will be NO delivery fee added onto the customer.

Having delivered pizzas for over ten years, it is very frustrating for me to see a store pull in a six figure income yet not be able to treat their most valued employees any better than they actually do.

Complaining about gas prices the other day to my boss, I told him he really needed to pay more than just a buck a delivery especially since some of the places we deliver to are a good 20 miles or more away from the store one way!

He said he was thinking about adding a three dollar delivery charge, and I asked him how much of that charge would the drivers see. He said, "Just the normal buck."

I told him if gas prices go up any higher, he'll need to raise mileage for employees otherwise he won't have any employees. He said at that point he'd shut down the entire delivery operation and just do carry-out.

Anyway, it just amazes me the chutzpah some of these owner/operators have.

Kind Regards,
Pizza StevePizza Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11811670318277086973noreply@blogger.com
